Loc-I Geometry Data Service

Submitted by jonathan.yu on Tue, 17/12/2019 - 15:19

A Loc-I Geometry Data Service Linked Data API for delivering geometry views for the Loc-I project (http://loci.cat).

This LD API implements this interface: https://github.com/CSIRO-enviro-informatics/geometry-data-service

The Loc-I Geometry Data Service aims to serve ASGS and Geofabric geometries with the view to include other authoritative datasets relevant for the Loc-I project in the future.

The Geological Survey of Qld's Datasets Register. The catalogue of datasets is online at https://horizon.gsq.digital/ with individual Datasets having URIs like this:

  • https://horizon.gsq.digital/dataset/whole-of-queensland-geochemistry-databases
  • https://horizon.gsq.digital/seismic/cpsan16-snowball-3d-2016-seismic-survey

GSQ will retain the /CLASS/ID part of the catalogue's URIs for use with this PID URI to make URIs like these for the items above:

Geological Survey of Queensland Ontology

Submitted by admin on Mon, 15/04/2019 - 16:00

This pattern in a general definitional resource pattern for the Geological Survey of Queensland. Although organisation-based path segments are not ideal, GSQ wishes to provision many definitional items (mainly vocabularies) under one namespace and thus needs a non-single-vocabulary-specific pattern. Some of the anticipated vocabularies are geology and Queensland specific, such as Qld mining permit types. Others are universal, such as lithology. GSQ expects some of the universal vocabularies to be deprecated for national/international ones over time.

EUDM Profile of DCAT

A "profile" is a new form of Linked Data definitional resource, the definition of which is being pursued in the W3C via its Dataset Exchange Working Group (DXWG) which four members of the AGLDWG are also members of.
