Legacy PID:
This register defines some units of measure used in groundwater, surface water and marine water quality observations, to supplement the standard QUDT units vocabulary. Each Unit is associated with one or more QuantityKinds via the qudt:quantityKind property. This water quality unit ontology re-uses, and adds appropriate water quality units to, the Quantities, Units, Dimensions, Data Types’ (QUDT) ontology which is developed by TopQuadrant and NASA.

This vocabulary contains a set of quantity kind individuals that are used in water-quality observations but are not included in generic QUDT.
